Club Diana 6 proved too strong for our 3rd team with Andy Seaward at no 2 our only winner, maintaining his winning form with an elegant 3-0 victory over Gary Pritchard who battled hard but Andy didn't look likely to break into a sweat.  Lin Leach had an entertaining and very close match at no 5, repeating an annoying habit of going from 2-1 up to lose 3-2 to Emma Proctor.  Sandy Lane was out-powered by a hard hitting Nick Darlow at no 4 and Ruth Sleigh similarly struggled to make an impact on Pete Bretherton at no 3.  Last on was Kev Loomes who, afer winning the first game, could only scratch his head and wonder at how his opponent, with a very unorthodox style, managed to sneak the next 3 past him!  Even his team mates were perplexed at where the shots were coming from!  Next up Daventry, a reputedly strong team but we are fielding a team to match them (i.e dropping the captain!).  Good luck guys.
